Efficiently organize, edit, and control all your AI voice characters from the centralized management console.

Accessing Character Management

Visit My Voices to access your character library.

Character Library Overview

Your character library displays all created voice characters in a visual grid layout:

Character Card Information:

  • Character avatar or default icon
  • Character name
  • Creation date
  • Quick action buttons

Viewing Characters

Grid View

Browse characters in a card-based layout:

  • Visual thumbnails for easy identification
  • Quick preview and action buttons
  • Responsive design for all screen sizes

Character Details

Click on any character card to view:

  • Complete character information
  • Audio sample preview
  • Usage statistics
  • Creation metadata

Character Actions

Preview Audio

Listen to the character's voice sample:

  1. Click the play button on the character card
  2. Audio plays directly in the browser
  3. Adjust volume as needed
  4. Stop playback anytime

Edit Character

Update character information:

Editable Fields:

  • Character name
  • Character description
  • Character avatar

Steps:

  1. Click the edit button on the character card
  2. Modify the desired fields
  3. Upload a new avatar if needed
  4. Click "Save Changes"
  5. Changes take effect immediately

Limitations:

  • Cannot change the voice audio after creation
  • To modify the voice, create a new character

Share to Voice Square

Make your character available to the community:

Before Sharing:

  • Ensure you have rights to share the voice
  • Add a clear description
  • Upload an appropriate avatar
  • Review character name for clarity

Sharing Process:

  1. Click the "Share" button on the character card
  2. Review character details
  3. Confirm sharing agreement
  4. Click "Publish to Voice Square"
  5. Character becomes publicly available

After Sharing:

  • Character appears in Voice Square
  • Other users can use it for synthesis
  • You can unshare at any time
  • Original creator attribution is maintained
  • Platform reserves the right to remove violating voices

Delete Character

Remove unwanted characters:

Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Steps:

  1. Click the delete button on the character card
  2. Confirm deletion in the dialog
  3. Character is immediately removed
  4. Quota slot becomes available

What Gets Deleted:

  • Character profile and metadata
  • Associated audio samples
  • Usage history
  • Shared status (if published)

What Remains:

  • Previously generated audio using this character
  • Character appears in your generation history

Organization Features

Search Characters

Find characters quickly:

  • Search by character name
  • Filter by creation date
  • Sort alphabetically or by recent use

Filter Options

Narrow down your character list:

  • All Characters: View complete library
  • My Creations: Only characters you created
  • Shared: Characters published to Voice Square
  • Private: Characters not shared publicly

Usage Statistics

Track character usage:

  • Total synthesis count
  • Last used date
  • Popular characters indicator
  • Generation history

Quota Management

Monitor your character limits:

Current Usage Display:

  • Characters created / Total allowed
  • Visual progress bar
  • Upgrade prompt when near limit

Managing Quota:

  • Delete unused characters to free slots
  • Upgrade plan for more capacity
  • Archive important characters before deletion

Best Practices

Naming Conventions

Use clear, descriptive names:

  • ✅ "Professional Male - English"
  • ✅ "Narrator - Deep Voice"
  • ✅ "Character: Emma - Friendly"
  • ❌ "Voice 1", "Test", "asdf"

Organization Tips

Keep your library organized:

  • Use consistent naming patterns
  • Add detailed descriptions
  • Update avatars for visual recognition
  • Regularly review and remove unused characters

Sharing Guidelines

When sharing to Voice Square:

  • Verify you have permission to share the voice
  • Provide accurate descriptions
  • Use appropriate, professional avatars
  • Respect copyright and privacy laws

Troubleshooting

Character Not Playing

Issue: Preview audio doesn't play Solutions:

  • Check browser audio permissions
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Clear browser cache

Cannot Delete Character

Issue: Delete button is disabled Solutions:

  • Character may be in use by active generation
  • Wait for ongoing synthesis to complete
  • Contact support if issue persists

Shared Character Not Appearing

Issue: Character not visible in Voice Square after sharing Solutions:

  • Wait a few minutes for processing
  • Refresh the Voice Square page
  • Check character meets sharing requirements
  • Verify sharing status in character details

Integration with Other Features

Text-to-Speech

Use managed characters for synthesis:

  1. Navigate to Text-to-Speech
  2. Select character from "My Voices" tab
  3. Enter text and generate speech
  4. Download or preview results

Voice Conversion

Apply character voice to existing audio:

  1. Navigate to Voice Conversion
  2. Select target character
  3. Upload source audio
  4. Process conversion
  5. Download converted audio

API Access

Programmatically manage characters:

  • List all characters
  • Get character details
  • Delete characters
  • Update metadata
